Die Radierungen von Motiven aus Venedig machte ich nach eigenen Fotos mit den üblichen Methoden der Strichätzung und der Aquatinta. Die Serie besteht zur Zeit aus 19 Ansichten von Venedig. (Größe der bedruckten Fläche der Bilder = 33 x 24.5 cm)

  Photographs I took act as templates for the etchings of motifs from Venice. I apply the usual techniques of line etching and aquatinta. The series currently consists of 19 views of Venice. The size of the printed area is 33 x 24.5 cm.

Farbradierungen mache ich nach lebenden Objekten, die ich zeichne und dann auf Kupferplatten ätze. Das radierte Bild säge ich sorgfältig aus der Platte aus, färbe die Teile mit Druckerfarben ein, lege sie auf Kupferdruck-Papier und drucke. Jeder Druck wird dadurch zu einem Unikat, denn die Anordnung der gesägten Teile und ihre Einfärbung lassen sich nicht exakt reproduzieren. 

I do colour etchings after life objects which I draw and then etch on copper plates. The etched image is carefully cut from the plate, parts are then dyed with printer colours, laid on copper-print paper and printed. Each print thus becomes unique, because the arrangement of the cut parts and their colours cannot be exactly reproduced
